Light: Euphorbia plants do not like direct mid-day sunlight, and should be placed in partial shade through the hottest hours of the day. Direct sunlight in the morning and afternoons is okay.

Water: Euphorbia trigona like to dry out between waterings. Press your finger about an inch into the soil and if it is damp, do not water it. If it is dry it is time to water.
Soil: Euphorbia is a succulent, not a cactus, so this plant requires well-draining soil. Succulent soil is perfect.
