Which Aphidend should I buy?

The 10,000 tube is great for up to 10 plants. The 50,000 tube will be perfect for 10+ plants.

When should I use Koppert's Aphidend?

Use Aphidend for biological control of eggs, larvae and pupae of aphids. It is best to introduce the product at the first sign of pests.

How does it work?

Aphid colonies disperse a smell of honeydew that attracts adult gall-midges. They deposit their eggs in these colonies, providing an immediate food source for the larvae. Upon hatching, the larvae paralyze and then consume the aphids.

How to use Aphidend

• Turn and shake the bottle or bag gently before use
• Place material all in ONE place on the soil, do NOT spread it around
• Do not apply close to stem
• At the first use, test Aphidend on a small scale prior to application on crops.

Best working conditions

For optimal results, the soil has to be moist but not too wet. The minimum temperature for successful use of Aphidend is 15°C/59°F.

Handling

Beneficial bugs have a very short life expectancy in the packaging, and therefore need to be introduced into the crop as soon as possible after receipt. Failure to do so can have a negative impact on their quality. In case you do need to store Entomite, please follow the instructions below. We are not liable for any loss of quality if the product is stored for longer and/or under different conditions than recommended.
